About

I'm David, a Master's student in Computer Science at Queen's University. My research primarily focuses on data analysis, internet of things (IOT), and large language models (LLMs) and I am under the supervision of Dr. Yuan Tian. I have multple years of experience as an analyst and a data scientist at Statistics Canada.

I also serve as a reservist in the Canadian Armed Forces as an infanteer, where I am a section commander at my unit. With almost six years of service; allowing me to work in high stress environments either alone or in a team setting.

During my free time, I love maintaining and improving my physical fitness by going to the gym and going on runs and rucks. I also love working on my side projects which can be described as exploring how I can bridge my infantry experience with my computing experience.
